Wine Rascal HQ is always keen to observe the occasions pencilled into the wine calendar – so with June fast approaching, that can only mean one thing…

International Rosé Day!

Summer is upon us, which we all know means the Rosé wine will be flowing.  What will you have on your menus this year to satisfy that demand?

The 11th Hour White Zinfandel from California is a real Summer crowd-pleaser; perfect for customers who are partial to a slightly off-dry tipple or even a Rosé Prosecco. Crisp strawberry and raspberry on the palate with a fruity and fresh finish.

Eagle Rock is home to a selection of handcrafted, small production wineries in California.

Stepping out ever so slightly into the left field now with the alluring Greek Rosé from Thalia winery of Crete.

A delicious flavour combination here with sour cherries, strawberry and rose petals. Full bodied and refreshing with a long strawberry finish. Made with a luscious blend of 100% indigenous greek grapes.

Lastly we have our fizzy option. The Triolet Rosé champagne is made by small parcel winemaker Thierry Triolet, who uses his own homegrown grapes, which are highly sought after by big name champagne houses.

This fabulous Rosé offers mulberry, raspberry and redcurrant on the palate. It’s fresh and intense with an elegant shade of salmon
