After a great response to our most magnanimous offering last week (it’s still not too late to get in on that too, by the way), we’re keeping the gravy train a’rollin’ with some more rascal treasure.
Throughout the next few weeks, we’ll be offering you selections from the very last of our most legendary wines. The wines that built our success as a company, and enhanced our lives along the way. It’s hard for us to depart with these jewels, but Christmas is a time of giving, and you rascals have been so good this year.
So here’s three more of our finest…
First up for this week is an unwooded Chardonnay from some of our oldest friends at Louisvale in South Africa.
A delicious wash of tropical fruits is predominant here, with a classy blend of citrus and savoury notes to match. This wine was a steal even at RRP, so you definitely don’t want to miss it at a very modest £5.30 ex VAT*.
Next is a truly decadent DOC Valpolicella Classico from the very trendy Vigneti di Ettore. If I may break the third person narrative briefly, there are tears streaming down my face as I type about this one. A stunning depth of rich, sour cherry and raspberry flavour that will be dearly missed at Wine Rascal HQ. Again, at a frankly outrageous figure of £7.30 ex VAT*.
Finally a light-hearted bubbly to cheers us all up. The beautifully clean Cava from the also very trendy and sustainable Mistinguett that frequents our cellars is offered today in its 20cl bottle form. Perfect for a time when we feel like celebrating but have stockings to deal with in the morning…
