With just a few weeks to go until the Easter hols, we think it’s a great time to start planning for those big family meals and outings,

We’ve picked our brains ’round the Wine Rascal office and have come up with three wines that we think will cover all the bases for that busy period. Take a look below.

Fill your flutes with La Farra’s flagship DOC Treviso Brut. This is how Prosecco should taste, carefully cultivated by the passionate, artisanal La Farra family, offering delicate sliced apples on the palate, with an alluringly tangy fizz that makes it really pop.

Now for something even more food friendly –  a longstanding favourite grape, but made from one of the most booming wine regions of the moment? (One of the best producers in that region too, we might add.)

This vibrant Chardonnay from Henry Of Pelham of Canada is an exciting and refined expression of the grape, that’s absolutely perfect for a traditional Easter fish dinner, or any other dinner for that matter!

Finally, we can finish things off with a deliciously rich and fruity red. The Old Vine Swirl Zinfandel from the bounteous soils of California offers deep blackberries and gentle tannins that are perfect a chocolate pudding, or simply on its own by an open fire.
