If, like us, you like to keep an ear eternally glued to the proverbial ground, you’ll know that the ‘spotlight theme’ for this month’s SITT tastings (which we’re sure you’ve signed up to by now) has been announced.

The theme is Christmas! We’ve barely started putting a jumper on yet and already we’re having to think about the jolly season. But hey, that’s the industry we’re in, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

SITT will include a separate, self-pour table, on which exhibitors have been asked to feature their best tips for the upcoming crimbo period.

As we have decided to showcase some of our best and brightest vegan and organic only wines this year, we thought we’d show you all something else from our vast arsenal.

We felt that around Christmas time, your average punter is out spending a lot of money on their nearest and dearest, but after all that manic rushing around, they certainly like a drink too!

So we thought we’d showcase some of our more everyday gems that are perfect for those busy winter nights.

First up is a sparkler. A cheerful Prosecco to toast the year and lift those awkward office Christmas parties off the ground. From an award-winning producer, this fizz can come in at a modest 10.99 RRP price.

Second is a smooth and moreish red from California. An ideal match for any meaty dish, a pudding or even just a cosy blanket. 100% Pinot Noir and fantastic value, coming in at just under a tenner RRP.

Finally a white, ideal with seafood dishes and cheeseboards, the Beaubois expression is as light and elegant as a snowflake. As this beauty is in fact vegan and organic, we’ll actually be showing this one at our table and not at the self-pour area. We just thought we’d do a white too, giving you festive cheer across the wine spectrum.

So there you go, Christmas sorted!

Just leave the cookies and brandy by the fireplace for us. Ta.
