Seigneurie de Peyrat

Of the many great villas and wine estates of the region, few match Seigneurie de Peyrat's charm

The Peyrat family arrived in 1645. In 1660, King Louis XIV and Cardinal Mazarin holidayed there. For several centuries, the estate belonged to various families who made it prosper. In 1980 a complete overhaul of the vineyard began and continues today with the 5th generation: Cécile Viennet and her husband Miguel Espada. In the heart of this exceptional terroir, they perpetuate a refined art de vivre close to nature, combining tradition, passion and innovation. The estate’s philosophy: cultivate vines traditionally while respecting the soil, animals and Mediterranean climate.
