With our new Autumn/Winter list cram-packed with gorgeous wines, it’s been pretty hard narrowing down some of our top crowd pleasers for this season. But here goes…..
La Farra Prosecco DOCG Valdobbiadene Extra Dry – Italy (also available in magnum)
No crowd pleaser list would be complete without a cheeky little prosecco. HQ picked this one as it is an ideal partner to our other vice – CAKE! Bursting with ripe peach flavours, we’d recommend this alongside anything rich, buttery and sweet. Post summer blues forgotten in an instant!
Sahateni Nomad Pinot Noir – Romania
We couldn’t miss out our new wonderfully quirky Romanian Pinot Noir. In the vineyard’s own words “Nomad is our wine aimed at the adventurous, representing a modern style of wine, a new experience” Right up our rascal alley. Need we say more?
Louisvale Stone Road Sauvignon Blanc – South Africa
Sauvignon Blanc shouldn’t just be reserved for New Zealand and Chile. We fell in love with the freshness of this wine; bursting with flavours and character while still light enough to be an easy drinker. A GOLD MEDAL WINNER to boot! It just had to be here.
Cave d’Alignan Cante Merle Rouge – France
We love this vineyard with its fab blend of tradition and modernity. This is a wonderful all-rounder, fruit forward wine with a good level of acidity. Works well either as an aperitif or accompanying grilled meat, lamb and cheese. Delivers well above its price point which is music to our ears.
