As winners of the highly coveted IWSC Malbec Trophy for "Best Malbec in the World", we're clearly not the only ones to love this vineyard's fruits of labour.

Viniterra  or ” Wines of Terroir” was founded in 1997 with the support of its founder member and president, Adriano Senetiner; renowned enologist with over 50 years experience in the wine industry. As their name indicates, their philosophy is to obtain wines of “Terroir” suggesting that quality arises from the perfect combination of certain factors such as the vineyard location, soil, climate, training and pruning system and the varietal types that best suit these conditions.

Villa Rosa is the name given to their summit scraping vineyard located in  Argentine mountains at Agrelo – Luján de Cuyo.  At an astonishing 1.020 meters above sea level (3.346 ft) they cultivate a range of grape varieties within their portfolio. The extraordinary quality that altitude  brings to their flavour, colour and aroma coupled with the skill and expertise of its pioneering winemaker has secured its new richly deserved “Best Malbec in the World” accolade.

They believe quality is achieved in the vineyard and work hard to obtain wines that reflect the inherited character of each variety combined with the environmental conditions favourable to their cultivation.
